About The Jarvis Mansion
The Jarvis Mansion was originally built in 1902 specifically for The Jarvis family. Throughout the years the Jarvis has been home to offices, a seamstress, bed & breakfast, and a residential home. The Jarvis was converted in 2004 into a destination wedding venue specifically for bride and grooms in Eastern North Carolina.
Renee & Bill Franklin, Owner
Renee and Bill Franklin purchased the Jarvis in 2004 when it was host to offices, no bathrooms or closets, and no kitchen. The Jarvis went under a complete restoration with it's sole purpose to be able to cater to the needs of brides and grooms. The result was the beautiful entrance way into the Jarvis as well as the immaculate gardens. Renee and Bill are avid historians and former educators who have a keen eye for details and antiquity.
Meredith Jefferson, Manager
Meredith Jefferson is the daughter of Bill and Renee Franklin. She is the acting manager for the Jarvis and is responsible for booking and planning events. She is a graduate from East Carolina University and is married to her husband Charles Jefferson.
